A special experience for your child

We strive to be accessible to all children and families whatever their circumstances or need. We keep fees low and, as a charity, invest in highly experienced staff and in creating an exciting environment for the children.

We are very much an outdoor nursery school. Children have access to a huge outdoor play area, kitchen garden, woodworking shed and local village walks. Our light and bright indoor spaces stimulate every children's need to explore and learn using high quality and natural resources.

Our 'just bring your child' approach means that we supply everything – from waterproofs to wellies and snacks to sun cream and nappies!

Our ethos

We choose to limit the number of places on offer so we can give each little person the time and space to learn in their own way. We promote learning using nurturing teaching methods and providing a calm environment full of interest and wonder.

 

Respect of each child's individual needs and personality underpins all we do. Our focus is always on the social and emotional wellbeing of the child and of you, their family. All children play together regardless of age so that we can operate as one ‘family’. Older children show tolerance and respect for their younger companions who in turn learn from the good examples set by their elders.

 

Sustainability is important to us. Children are given organic fruit at snack time, we use Ecover cleaning products rather than harsh chemicals and have our own compost bins to deal with food and paper waste.
